# CineMatch
CineMatch is a collaborative movie discovery application designed to solve the common dilemma of choosing what to watch. By leveraging a swipe-based interface, it streamlines the decision-making process for couples, friends, groups, etc.
## Overview
CineMatch allows users to connect with a partner and independently curate a list of movies they are interested in watching. The application compares these preferences in real-time to identify common interests.
## Key Features
- Browse through a curated catalog of movies with a simple swipe mechanism: swipe right to "like" and left to "pass".
- Receive notifications when you and your partner both like the same movie.
- View trailers, ratings, and synopses of movies (using IMDB database).
- Keep track of your matches and mark them as watched.
## How It Works
1. Link your account with your partner's using a unique code.
2. Browse movies individually at your own pace.
3. When a mutual match occurs, the movie is added to your shared "To Watch" list.
